Daniela is a graphic designer and the co-founder of a tech company. She's fluent in Italian, has BA in fine art, writes songs, fronted a garage band in San Francisco (like everyone else in the 90s) and illustrated a picture book about cheese addiction. She is the mother of three teenagers ruined by the internet, and two eccentric cats. She recently finished a speculative fiction novel and is currently working on a short story series, as well as a new novel about a fictional town in Colorado. She writes when she should be parenting.

One of Daniela's short stories was published in a 2023 anthology by Indignor Playhouse and others were recently longlisted for short fiction competitions.
